Quantum Cutters, marketed under the TMX® brand, are produced with a unique insert cutting edge geometry, pressed on opposing sides, that integrates into a tilted dovetail pocket to form a rigid clamping bond with the mill. The unique double-sided inserts come with four to sixteen cutting edges to enable extended utility out of single piece of carbide. The combination of design elements provides low cutting forces for smoother cuts and longer tool and machine life with steel, stainless steel, cast iron and aluminum.
